August 1, 2021

First Responders and active and reserve servicemen and women are invited to participate in State of Ohio 1st Responders and Military Triathlon & Duathlon.  This year’s event honors those who serve on the front lines and serve our country and communities, an opportunity to participate in an exciting and fun event.  There are no qualifying requirements to participate.  Duathletes are also welcome to participate in the duathlon division.

Participate as an individual and complete all three legs, or get 1-2 co-workers, friends, and family members and participate as a relay.

This year’s event, originally slated to be part of the Ohio State Ross Heart Hospital TriFit Challenge Triathlon that takes in downtown Columbus, Ohio was moved to Deer Creek State Park .

The event takes place in the scenic Deer Creek State Park in Pickaway County (about 35 minutes South of Columbus, OH) and features a mostly flat and fast course with a few rolling hills on the bike.  Triathletes will be swimming a rectangular course along the beach while duathletes will start their race with a run within the park.
