Terms and Conditions
Rental Items
Customer hires the below identified “Rental Equipment” on an “as is” basis.
Inspection of Rental Items
Customer acknowledges that an authorized representative of Customer has, or will, personally inspect the Rental Equipment prior to use.
Acknowledgement of Receipt of Rental Items
Customer acknowledges receipt of all Rental Equipment listed above and that all items are in good working order and repair. Should Customer have any disputes or concerns with the quality or count of any of the items, Customer shall notify HFP Event Services, LLC immediately.
Indemnity/Hold Harmless
Customer will take all necessary precautions regarding the items rented, and protect all persons and property from all injury or damage. Customer agrees to hold harmless HFP Event Services, LLC from and against any and all liability, claims, judgments, attorneys’ fees and cost, of every kind and nature, including but not limited to, injuries or death to persons and damage to property, arising out of the use, maintenance, instruction, operation, possession, ownership or rental of the items rented, however caused, except claims or litigation arising through the gross negligence or willful misconduct of HFP Event Services, LLC.
Assumption of Risk/Release — Discharge of Liability
Customer is fully aware and acknowledges there is a risk of injury or damage arising out of the use or operation of the items rented hereunder and herby elects to voluntarily rent the items and assume all of the above risks of injury or damage. Customer agrees to release and discharge HFP Event Services, LLC from any and all responsibility or liability from such injury or damage arising out of the use or operation of the rental items; and Customer further agrees to waive, release and discharge any and all claims for injury or damage against HFP Event Services, LLC which Customer otherwise may be entitled to assert.
Applicable Taxes
All final invoices will reflect a 7% Ohio tax.
CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
CUSTOMER HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES RECEIPT OF THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT DESCRIBED ABOVE AND ACCEPTS THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT AS IS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT SUCH RENTAL EQUIPMENT IS IN GOOD AND SERVICEABLE CONDITION AND SUITABLE TO CUSTOMER’S NEEDS.
