8:30 am start time
Ages: 11-12 and 13-14
Age: 6 & Under
Did you read about the overview session on the Schedule tab? It will be worthwhile. Course descriptions for each age group can be found here.
Transitioning from the swim to the bike can be a little confusing for younger/new to triathlon kids, so there will be an area adjacent to the pool where we encourage all participants to stage everything they will need before getting on to their bike (see list above). Parents will be able to assist kids with drying off, getting socks/shoes/helmet on, and, of course, the all-important high fives!
All portions of the course will be viewable from sidewalks or grassy/park areas. FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PARTICIPANTS, NO PARENTS/SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED IN TRANSITION AREAS OR ON THE RACE COURSE AT ANY TIME. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
The first 250 finishers will receive a finisher’s medal. Awards will be given for the First, Second, Third Male and Female places of each age grouping 7 and older (7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14). There are podium boxes for first, second and third place finishes if you’d like to get your picture taken on the podium!
Results will be sent to everyone’s email and available live on this website.
Be safe, have fun, and good luck!

*Please plan to be at the pool at least 60-75 minutes prior to your start time in order to get your packet, timing chip, body marked and rack your bike.
In order to help reduce the number of steps on race day, participants may take advantage of the option to pick up their packet and/or drop bikes on Friday 4-8PM.
Knowing what to expect will make a better race day for you and your young one(s). If you were unable to attend the race triathlon clinic the Saturday before the event, we strongly encourage you to attend.
Bikes can be dropped at T1 on Friday 4-8PM. All bikes dropped on Friday will be racked for you. NOTE! Bikes may only be checked-in AFTER you have picked up your packet. Transition 1 and 2 open at 7:30am on race morning.

Following the race, participants will have multiple activities to continue their fun, along with an awesome post race party.
